A Long Way From Home for Herons Park Nursing Home
Residents and staff from Herons Park Nursing Home recently undertook the 190 mile round trip from Kidderminster down to Weston-super-Mare to enjoy a day out at the beach. It was clearly an idea shared by many others as the area was absolutely packed with people making the most of one of the final days of summer. With the exception of a slight breeze, which caused some minor hairstyle havoc, the weather thankfully remained fantastic all day.
It was a successful day out and an excellent time was had by all. A restaurant visit for some food and a fizzy refreshment or two was followed by a walk down the Weston-super-Mare Grand Pier to enjoy the lovely view of the bay.
Activities like this are always appreciated by our residents and we are hugely grateful to our amazing staff at our residential nursing home in Kidderminster for consistently going above and beyond to ensure plenty of exciting events and trips are planned, giving everybody something to look forward to.
