Herons Park Nursing Home Welcomes Lovely Young Guests
The residents of Herons Park Nursing Home in Kidderminster recently received a heartwarming visit from Year 4 children of Heronswood Primary School. The visit was a delightful experience for the elderly residents, who thoroughly enjoyed the singing performance put on by the young children. The children sang a variety of songs and the performance was met with great applause from the residents, who expressed their gratitude for the lovely gesture by the children.
After the performance, the children spent time getting to know the residents and finding out about their lives. They asked questions about the residents' families, their hobbies, and their favourite things to do. The children were curious and eager to learn about the residents' experiences and stories, which the elderly residents were more than happy to share.
The visit was a wonderful opportunity for both the children and the residents to connect with each other and bridge the gap between generations. The children had a great time visiting our residential nursing home in Kidderminster and the residents enjoyed their company, telling them they were welcome back any time!
